Welcome to Phoenix Headache Institute! We are a comprehensive, subspecialty practice dedicated to effectively understanding and treating headache conditions specifically. Founded in [YEAR], PHI offers timely access to care and treats any and all headache conditions ranging from the mildest cases to some of the most severe and complex ones through highly integrated and multidisciplinary patient care.
The PHI team understands that headache conditions can be debilitating and often affect multiple aspects of a sufferer’s life, including work, relationships, and basic functioning.

The History of PHI
The Phoenix Headache Institute was founded with a mission to deliver a comprehensive and compassionate approach to headache management. Each of our PHI specialists performs a thorough, personalized assessment before creating an individualized treatment plan keeping in mind your clinical symptoms, other medical conditions, and personal preferences.
It is important that each patient feels comfortable and confident in their treatment plan as well as the team helping them reach their goals of pain freedom. We are committed to cutting-edge headache care that upholds the practice’s mission and vision.
Since the beginning, Dr. Eric Eross has believed in healing patients holistically, which means that patients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being are well-accounted for throughout their journey at PHI. Headache conditions affect many aspects of a person’s life and well-being, and we pride ourselves on helping patients manage their symptoms in ways that help them heal in all the areas being affected.

As headache conditions gain more mainstream coverage, there can be a lot of information out there regarding headache-related diagnoses and treatment options, not all of which is helpful or accurate.
At Phoenix Headache Institute, we aim to not only perform therapies that address the cognitive, emotional, and physical components of head pain, but we also aim to educate our patients about their headache condition. The better a person understands their condition and the treatments involved in managing it, the better they will do overall.
We pride ourselves on ensuring all of our patients know their headache diagnosis, treatment options, and the purpose/goal of each therapy they are engaging in. Education is one of the pillars of effective management and care, and we take this seriously at PHI. We have detailed educational handouts on all of our therapies and headache conditions for patients to take home and review at their leisure (as well as a great opportunity to share with family and friends!).
