LONDON BRIDGE

LAKE HAVASU, ARIZONA

Lake Havasu’s London Bridge stands as a fascinating blend of history, mystery and transatlantic relocation. The original stone bridge, dating back to 1176, was not only a bustling thoroughfare in London, but also served as a gruesome display of power and punishment. The heads of traitors and criminals were often displayed on the bridge’s spikes as a show of the Crown’s authority. Once spanning the Thames in London, this iconic bridge found itself sinking into the water by the 1960’s. Rather than demolishing it, the city of London decided to sell it to the highest bidder, which was none other than Robert McCullough, founder of Lake Havasu. It was meticulously dismantled, shipped across the globe and reassembled in the most unlikely of all places. The bridge now bears the scars of its sordid past. Local legends whisper of ghosts who crossed the ocean with the bridge, lingering in the shadows. From eerie apparitions to the bats that inhabit its hallow interior, Lake Havasu’s London Bridge remains a captivating testament to both history and the supernatural.

SUPERSTITION MOUNTAINS, ARIZONA

LOST DUTCHMAN’S MINE

The legend of the Lost Dutchman’s Mine is a tapestry of greed, mystery, and death woven into rugged folds of Arizona’s legendary Superstition Mountains. It tells of the Peralta family, who struck gold in the 1840’s, only to be ambushed by Apaches, leaving behind a hidden treasure and a blood-soaked legacy. Enter Jacob Waltz, the enigmatic “Dutchman,” who claimed to find the mine with a Peralta map, only to take its secret to his grave, sparking a treasure hunt that continues to this day. The mine’s allure has led many to their demise, as if the mountains themselves guard the gold with a special force, making the Lost Dutchman’s Mine a tantalizing enigma that whispers of untold riches and eternal curses. Enter if you dare.

“BE AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID.” The Fly (1986)

According to the Global Burden of Disease Study (2019), headache disorders rank within the top 3 leading causes for years lived with disability (YLDs) worldwide. In fact, migraine is the leading cause of YLDs for those between 18 and 49 years of age. Fortunately, PHI can help individuals overcome these frightening statistics through accurate diagnosis and the application of effective and well-tolerated therapies.

JEROME GRAND HOTEL

JEROME, ARIZONA

Once a bustling mining town, Jerome now stands clinging to the side of Cleopatra Hill. Its wild past, complete with saloons, brothels, and a reputation as “the wickedest town of the West,” has left behind a legacy of special tales and eerie encounters. Respected as an artist community, explore its winding streets and spend the night at the haunted Jerome Grand Hotel if you dare. This town, not quite a ghost town but far from ordinary, refuses to be forgotten by history.

CRYSTAL PALACE SALOON

TOMBSTONE, ARIZONA

The Crystal Palace Saloon in Tombstone stands as a testament to the wild and rugged past of this historic town. Originally known as the Golden Eagle Brewery, it has defied the odds by surviving fires, financial woes, and even prohibition. But what sets it apart are the lingering spirits that seem to haunt its dimly lit corners. Visitors report hearing phantom footsteps, doors slamming, and witnessing strange glows in photographs. Could these be the restless souls of miners, gamblers, and gunfighters who sought refuge within its walls? Perhaps the ghosts of legendary figures like Doc Holliday and Big Nose Kate still linger. Step back in time and experience the eerie ambiance of the Old “Wild” West.

Success Stories

Check out what our patients say about us!

I first met Dr Eross about 11 years ago. I cried throughout the first office visit. My migraines were 24/7. Fast forward to the present. I don’t know when my last one was. I am a Holistic Practitioner and Dr. Eross has been so patient with me doing my remedies along with his treatments. He is and will always be one of my heroes in my lifetime! I hope more people find him for treatment! He is a Godsend!

Wendy
Patient

I have been a lifelong migraineur and have tried everything under the sun to control my migraines. I had the great fortune to find Dr Eross and have been his patient for 10+ years. There is simply no doctor to compare with Dr Eross who is a top neurologist and is so kind and patient as well. The staff at Phoenix Headache Institute responds right away to calls and messages, which is so critical to getting help for a migraine sufferer! I highly recommend calling their office now and making an appointment as it will give you your life back, as it did mine!
